Man retrieves iPhone but faced electrocution and defecation
A New York man saved his iPhone by defying death from electrocution because his iPhone fell on the tracks. Bijan Rezvani’s leap down to the subway tracks was more dangerous than most people think. The third rail is electrified. Jumping on to the tracks is also illegal. This comical story, while true, probably does not cast New York in a very good light. The transit system requires people to ask for help if they need to retrieve something from the tracks, but Rezvani said nobody was available at that time of night. As he road back and forth the worst part of his adventure became apparent.
“Incidentally, someone had defecated in this tunnel we had to go through repeatedly, which was pretty horrible. Anyway, so we left messages and texts with it and decided all we could do was go home. We were standing on the platform waiting for the train when my friend said, “Isn’t that your phone down there?” It was. So I got it.”
